Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 2026-09-10 · v1.2

Effective: September 10, 2026

This Policy is published by Tricky Labs LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company doing business as SavaSync ("SavaSync," "we," "us," "our").

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities and content that are not allowed on SavaSync. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to every user — Studios, Instructors, Students, and anyone interacting with the Platform.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. For repeated or willful violations we may also pursue legal remedies.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use SavaSync to:

  • Engage in illegal activity. Run classes for, or transactions involving, controlled substances, sex work, gambling outside legal venues, or any other activity that violates the law in your jurisdiction or in the United States.
  • Commit fraud. Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or business; list fake Classes; collect payments for Classes you have no intent to deliver; manipulate reviews; or use stolen payment methods.
  • Launder money. Use the Platform to obscure the source of funds, structure transactions to avoid reporting thresholds, or process payments for sanctioned countries or individuals.
  • Circumvent platform mechanics. Use multiple accounts to evade free-tier limits, route bookings outside of SavaSync's payment processing to avoid platform fees, or attempt to charge Students outside the Platform after the Student found you on SavaSync.
  • Target minors inappropriately. Operate Classes that involve unsupervised minors without the required credentials, parental consents, and adult-supervision arrangements required by law.
  • Provide unlicensed medical, therapeutic, or nutritional advice. Fitness and wellness instruction is allowed; diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments, or providing licensed therapeutic services without the appropriate license is not.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not post, send, or share through SavaSync any content that:

  • Promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Harasses, stalks, or threatens any other person.
  • Is sexually explicit or otherwise targeted to be sexual entertainment. Fitness and wellness Classes that happen to be physically intimate (e.g., partner yoga, sensual movement) are allowed when honestly described; explicitly sexual content is not.
  • Infringes intellectual property rights. Do not use trademarks, logos, copyrighted text, photos, or music that you do not have permission to use. Do not list Classes that misappropriate another business's identity.
  • Doxes — that is, publishes private personal information about another person — without that person's consent.
  • Spreads malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Misrepresents the nature, location, time, or terms of a Class in a way likely to mislead Students.

4. Platform Abuse

You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform other than through documented public interfaces.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform or any part of it.
  • Probe or test the security of the Platform, the apps, the embeddable widget, or any related infrastructure without our prior written permission. To request permission, or to report a vulnerability you have found, email legal@savasync.com — good-faith reports are welcome.
  • Bypass rate limits, IP restrictions, or authentication mechanisms.
  • Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to create accounts, post content, or interact with the Platform, except where SavaSync provides an explicit API and you have authorization to use it.
  • Spam users. Do not send unsolicited bulk messages through SavaSync's email or SMS features. Marketing campaigns must be sent only to users who have opted in.
  • Send messages that contain phishing, scams, or malicious links.

5. Honest Representation

Studios, Instructors, and Students must represent themselves and their activities accurately. Specifically:

  • Studios must accurately describe Classes (type, intensity, format, equipment requirements), instructor credentials (only list real qualifications), business location (real addresses), and pricing (no hidden fees beyond what is disclosed at checkout).
  • Studios must hold the qualifications and insurance they advertise. SavaSync does not verify credentials but reserves the right to require proof when investigating complaints.
  • Students must use their real name when booking and signing waivers. Booking under a false identity may invalidate any liability waiver and may constitute fraud.

6. Respect for Other Users

Do not use SavaSync to harass any other user. This includes (a) repeatedly messaging a user who has asked you to stop, (b) using the Platform's communication features to deliver insults or threats, (c) retaliating against a Student who canceled a booking, (d) submitting fake bad reviews to harm a competing Studio.

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or activity that violates this AUP, report it to legal@savasync.com with:

  • The username or URL of the user or content in question
  • A description of the violation
  • Any supporting screenshots or links
  • Your contact information (we may follow up for clarification)

We treat all reports as confidential to the extent possible. We may need to share the report with the reported user if required to investigate or respond.

8. Enforcement

When we receive a report that we reasonably believe to be valid based on the information provided, or when our systems detect a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  1. Issue a warning for minor or first-time violations.
  2. Temporarily suspend the account during investigation by disabling sign-in for up to 30 days. Where the violation poses an ongoing risk to other users or to the Platform — for example, suspected fraud, payment abuse, or harassment in progress — temporary suspension may take effect immediately, with notice given concurrent with or shortly after the suspension.
  3. Permanently terminate the account for severe or repeated violations, effective on notice.
  4. Restrict specific features (e.g., disable the email-campaign tool while we investigate a spam complaint) without terminating the entire account.
  5. Refer the matter to law enforcement when a violation involves illegal activity.

When we suspend or terminate an account, we may also remove the user's Content from the Platform. Retention of removed Content and account records follows the periods set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe it was an error, you may appeal within 30 days by emailing legal@savasync.com with:

  • The email address of the suspended account
  • A clear explanation of why the suspension was incorrect
  • Any evidence that supports your appeal

We will review the appeal in good faith and respond within 14 days. Appeal decisions are final.

10. No Refund for Terminated Accounts

If we terminate your account for a violation of this AUP, you are not entitled to a refund of any subscription fees, prepaid Class Packs you sold, or any other amounts you've paid. This is in addition to (not instead of) any other remedies we have under our Terms.

We may issue partial refunds in our discretion when a termination is later determined to have been issued in error.

11. Changes to This AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them, and we post the current effective date at the top. Material changes — any change that makes conduct a violation which was permitted before, or that widens what we may do about a violation — will be announced by email and by an in-app notification at or before the time they take effect, and will not be applied to conduct that happened before that notice.
